Katie Holmes to perform in a musical

Katie Holmes is staying on her toes, hoping to snag a starring role in a big Broadway musical! Mrs. Tom Cruise, 30, has spent a lot of time lately at the International Dance Academy in Hollywood. “She’s determined to do a musical,” says a source, “and really wants the female lead in ‘Finding Neverland,’” the play based on the life of Peter Pan author J.M. Barrie. Katie has already proved herself on stage - she had a successful run last year in the drama ‘All My Sons’ and showed off her singing and hoofing skills on the canceled ABC series ‘Eli Stone.’

It would be great to see a bit more of Katie. This independence from Tom may give her a boost in the public eye. The public seems to think she is Tom's little puppy and can only do as he says. We are sure this is not the case. She has just had a young child and like every mum wanted to stay at home with her family

Now Suri is a little older she can now get back to the career she loves and enjoys. Your comments are welcomed.

Tom Cruise has been given a hard time

Tom and Katie have been given a lot of hassle in the media in recent days about the money they are spending on courses for daughter Suri. Reports are saying that they have spent up to 1 million dollars on various courses for the child. Suri has French and Spanish lessons once a week and showed some signs of mobility so has gymnastic and ballet classes. She is only 3 years old at the moment.

We actually don't see what the big fuss is about. If you want to be good at anything you need to start early. It's best to learn languages when you are very young. Also flexibility for gymnastics and dance is also established at an early age. 

So who cares ..... Tom and Katie pay a bit of money for courses for Suri... well lets face it they can afford it!
